it looks like its an auto addressing card. if your motherboard has a parallel port on it, try disableing it in the bios then reboot the computer. then goto device manager and if the card is there at the wrong port, remover the parallel port from device manager then get device manager to "hunt for new hardware. it may reassign it to the " standard " port address. if not.. I would sugjets that you go digging around for an older PCI parallel card with jumpers on it that you can set the address. we have a couple of computer recyclers nearby that I always look for stuff like that. |
