Hi folks. I think I asked this before, so you have to excuse me if I missed the answer. When converting inch to metric via the G-Code scale conversion menu, there's no option to convert the Z-axis. This means that 0.5 inch depths translate to 0.5mm depths (rather than 12.7mm expected). |

Hey Tony, I think there use to be Z in the scaling. Maybe it just got screwed up in one of the rewrites. We'll have to wait for Kelly to get back to find out. |

Tony, The scaling was designed mainly for enlargement of a design, not metric conversion. The Z axis could be added as an option if there is need for it. Do you think so? |

Hi Kelly, speaking as someone who never uses imperial measurements these days, the ideal option would be a tab that automatically scaled all axes by 25.4 at the press of a button if needed. You could even have an option that went to 0.03937 to convert metric to imperial as well. You could still have the individual scaling options as a separate menu (?) Tony. |
