Check your setup, the fet 3 requires one of the outputs to be reversed |

You could have the step and direction pins mixed up. The x axis driver could be bad. Or you may have a bad parallel port. If you have another PC available, try it's port. Does it work with the manufacturers test software? |

I have tried all thinkeble variations with the pins. I use pin 3-2 and 14 for the X-axis. I have also tried to revers the pin 14. I have tried an outher computer. And i have tried an outher FET-3 card. Same resoult - nothing helps. |

Have you tried reversing the A or B leads on the Stepper? This is the positive way to change the stepper direction. |

If you have tried two boards on two PC's, I would try to find more PC's to check. I think you may have two bad PC's. Use the test software that came with the boards when trying other PC's |
