In the menu, under files, KCam remembers the Gcode files that has been opened. How can I remove some of those files there? Thanks Hans |

Hello Hans, that is your recent files list. The last file you loaded will be at the top of the list. The only way to change them is to load the ones you want on the list into KCam then the other ones will drop off the list. |

Or you could edit the kcam.ini file and scroll down until you see the text [FileList]. [FileList] RecentFile_1=C:\wireframe10.gc RecentFile_2=C:\face1.gc RecentFile_3=C:\face2.gc ... RecentFile_18= RecentFile_19= RecentFile_20= Delete the file name text and save. |

Ah, that's not too difficult.. Now I have one more question. When I make a PCB, my computer goes down as soon as the last line is done. When I start it up again to drill the holes, there is no problem, it keeps working. Thanks in advance, Hans |

When you say that your computer goes down, do you mean it gives an error message, or the blue screen of death, or simply reboots on its own? Please describe what you see at that time. |

No error messages, the screen goes black, and I have to push the reset button on the computer and then the computer restarts again. Strange no? And only with Gcode files. Hans |

Kelly, After your answer I thought it is my computer that causes this problem. After some playing around on my computer I changed the powersave mode. After that the problem seems to be gone!! Now I can make a "fresh" start when my max-stepper arrives. Thanks a lot Hans |

I'm glad things are working for you. I sent your package on Jan 30th. I'm curious how long it takes to get to the Netherlands. Please drop me a note when it arrives. |

Kelly, Max stepper arrived today, so it takes exactly 4 weeks for Max to come over the pond to Holland Well I think that's pretty fast. It looks very good! I let you know when it's working. Thanks Hans |

Hans, I'm glad you received it. Although 4 weeks seems like a long time for shipping. Was the address I put on the package formatted correctly? Kelly |
